Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Data Science Manager for the Delivery team in London to lead analytics driving rider supply, speed, reliability, and network efficiency. You will own the analytical direction and oversee a team of 4–6 data scientists, balancing rider pay, incentives, and demand with impact across the marketplace.

The role reports to a Senior Data Science Manager and partners with Operations, Product, Machine Learning and Engineering to deliver measurable decisions and improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading data science teams.
• Experience delivering measurable impact in product, operations or marketplace contexts.
• Strong skills in experimentation and causal inference.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Define analytical direction and drive impact across Delivery.
• Lead and develop a team of 4–6 data scientists.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, ML and Engineering.
• Balance multiple outcomes across riders, consumers and network.
• Contribute hands-on with technical work when needed.
