Job Description:

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant (Security) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing security expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Our technical Security Consultants help our customers build comprehensive security models, transform how they secure their sensitive workloads, and develop their technical expertise. Their responsibilities include delivering architecture guidance, developing security infrastructure and patterns in code, leading proof-of-concept projects, and conducting security workshops for customers. They collaborate with customers to address security and compliance challenges and assist in implementing and migrating solutions onto AWS.

Professional Services engage in various projects for customers and partners, leveraging collective experience from across the AWS customer base to ensure customer success. We work closely across AWS teams to deliver solutions, innovate features based on customer needs, and ensure a seamless experience.

This is a customer-facing role requiring travel to UK client locations (3-4 days per week) to deliver professional services.

UK Government Security Clearance is required for this role (UK Nationality is mandatory).

Key job responsibilities
  1. Solutions: Working with customers to solve problems, identify opportunities, and define technical engagements, including understanding security and compliance requirements and proposing security solutions.
  2. Expertise: Operating within enterprise security programs, developing security models in AWS—covering identity and access management, logging, monitoring, infrastructure security, data protection, and incident response.
  3. Delivery: On-site project delivery, supporting migration and development of applications using AWS cloud services.
  4. Insights: Collaborating with AWS teams to relay customer feedback for technology roadmaps.
  5. Practice Development: Sharing knowledge, developing tools, and creating artefacts to help others build on your work.
