Job description

Manchester | Recruitment | SaaS & Technology

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Delivery Consultant to join an ambitious, high-performing recruitment business specialising in building Go-To-Market teams for some of the worlds fastest-growing, venture capital-backed technology companies.

With established relationships across the global technology ecosystem, the business partners with innovative SaaS companies and ambitious start-ups, helping them secure the talent they need to scale.

The business offers the opportunity to join a successful, established organisation while becoming part of a growing division with a genuine start-up feel. With established client relationships, live vacancies and experienced leadership already in place, the successful individual will have the infrastructure and support of a proven business alongside the opportunity to make a significant impact as the division grows.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious recruiter who enjoys the candidate side of recruitment and wants to work on exciting, international searches with some of the most interesting businesses in technology.

About the Business

The business specialises in building world-class Go-To-Market teams for venture capital-backed technology companies across international markets.

Its core focus includes SaaS, cybersecurity, AI, data and other high-growth technology sectors, partnering with businesses ranging from ambitious start-ups to established global technology companies.

With an established international presence, a strong network of clients and a reputation for delivering high-quality recruitment solutions, the business combines the entrepreneurial feel of a growing company with the infrastructure, resources and expertise of an established organisation.

The culture is ambitious, collaborative and performance-driven, with a strong emphasis on accountability, continuous development and rewarding people who want to succeed.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a specialist delivery team, focusing on identifying, engaging and qualifying high-quality candidates for a range of technical and commercial recruitment assignments.

Working closely with experienced consultants and the wider leadership team, they will play a key role in delivering against live client requirements while developing their knowledge of the technology recruitment market.

The role offers exposure to international talent markets, complex searches and high-value recruitment assignments, with the opportunity to develop into a senior delivery specialist or take on broader responsibilities as the business continues to grow.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Proactively sourcing and headhunting high-quality candidates for specialist recruitment assignments.
  • Building and developing talent pools across relevant technology and commercial markets.
  • Engaging candidates through personalised outreach, including LinkedIn, email, video and telephone.
  • Conducting in-depth candidate conversations to assess experience, motivations, achievements and suitability.
  • Qualifying candidates against detailed client briefs and presenting high-quality profiles to the wider team.
  • Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial engagement through to interview and offer.
  • Working closely with consultants and hiring managers to understand requirements and deliver against live vacancies.
  • Providing a consistently high standard of candidate experience through clear communication and effective relationship management.
  • Developing market knowledge and becoming an expert in the talent communities and sectors covered.
  • Contributing to the continued growth of the division through consistent delivery, collaboration and a commitment to quality.
The Ideal Candidate

The business is particularly interested in individuals with approximately 6-18 months of sales or recruitment experience who have developed a solid foundation and are looking for an environment where they can accelerate their career.

However, the business is open to candidates from different backgrounds. Attitude, ambition and potential are considered just as important as previous experience.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Drive and ambition: A genuine desire to succeed, earn well and continually improve.
  • Intelligence and curiosity: The ability to understand complex markets, learn new information quickly and ask the right questions.
  • Coachability: Someone who actively seeks feedback, learns from experienced colleagues and puts what they learn into practice.
  • Resilience: The determination to overcome setbacks, remain consistent and keep working towards long-term goals.
  • Confidence and presence: The ability to communicate professionally, build rapport and engage confidently with high-calibre candidates.
  • Attention to detail: A methodical approach to candidate qualification, understanding briefs and delivering a high standard of work.
  • Accountability: Someone who takes ownership of their performance and follows through on commitments.
  • Competitive instinct: A desire to perform, achieve results and challenge themselves.

Previous recruitment experience would be beneficial, particularly within technology or SaaS, but it is not essential for someone who can demonstrate the right characteristics and a strong appetite to learn.

The business is especially interested in people who have demonstrated commitment to something outside work, whether through competitive sport, personal projects, extracurricular achievements or other pursuits requiring discipline and persistence.
