At Lignum Group, we don’t just recruit — we shape careers and build industry leaders.

We’re a global recruitment business operating at the sharp end of the construction industry. In a sector where trust, timing, and talent are everything, we connect leading contractors and sub-contractors across the UK, Europe, and North America with the high-calibre professionals that drive projects forward.

Specialising in niche markets like façades, glazing, envelope, and interiors, we work with some of the most respected names in the industry — and they trust us to deliver. Every hire we make matters. That’s why we’re selective with our clients, committed to long-term partnerships, and focused on quality over volume.

Internally, we operate with the same standards. If you’re ambitious, driven, and want to work in a team that truly supports your success, Lignum is the place to grow. Whether you’re experienced or just getting started, we’ll give you the tools, mentoring, and market exposure to build a serious career in recruitment — and we’ll reward performance every step of the way.

We are Lignum Group. Global recruiters. Industry experts. Results-driven. And we’re just getting started.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Delivery Consultant to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to successfully source, engage, and qualify candidates to meet our clients’ hiring needs. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, strong research skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Talent Acquisition:

  • Utilise external databases, LinkedIn, job boards, and digital platforms to proactively source high-quality candidates.
  • Write and post compelling job advertisements to attract top-tier talent.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential candidates and expand the client network.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet both immediate and future hiring needs.

Candidate Engagement & Qualification:

  • Pre-qualify candidates through screening calls, assessing their suitability for specific roles.
  • Secure the candidate’s right to represent before submitting them to clients.
  • Prepare detailed candidate packs, providing hiring managers with all necessary information.
  • Guide candidates through each stage of the recruitment process, including interview preparation.
  • Debrief candidates at key stages, offering insights and support throughout the hiring process.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with Business Development and Account Management teams to understand client needs and sourcing requirements.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to coordinate interviews and feedback sessions.
  • Assist candidates with offer negotiations, contract details, and onboarding arrangements.

Process & System Management:

  • Manage the vacancy workflow efficiently through Bullhorn and Monday, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking.
  • Ensure all resourcing activities align with best practices and compliance guidelines.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Over 12 months’ experience in recruitment.
  • Proven experience specifically in candidate sourcing and talent acquisition.
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, job boards, and other sourcing platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and clients.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Bullhorn.
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
