Job summary

Aprolis UK in Sheffield is seeking a professional Chauffeur with LGV and FLT licences to transport equipment between depots and customer sites. You will ensure safe deliveries and provide on-site familiarisation of equipment, while maintaining high safety standards.

Ideal candidates will hold CPC accreditation, demonstrate strong organisational skills, and present a smart, customer-facing appearance. Role is full-time, with duties including loading/unloading, daily vehicle checks, and compliance

Qualifications

• Full clean LGV licence holder.
• FLT licence.
• Smart appearance with good customer facing and communication skills.
• Literacy with good organisational skills.
• High level of Health & Safety awareness and CPC accreditation.
• Flexible with a positive “Can Do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect Company and Customer FLTs (STR/Demo/Sale and Stock trucks).
• Complete delivery and collection notes for all equipment.
• Provide familiarisation on delivery of unfamiliar equipment to customers.
• Note obvious damage on collection and obtain customer signature.
• Observe site conditions (PPE/Speed Limits/Restricted Areas/Smoking) during deliveries and collections.
• Carry out daily safety checks on the vehicle and report defects to the Transport Coordinator.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and ensure no risk to people or property.
• Ensure vehicle capacity is not exceeded and drive within speed limits.
• Follow Working Time Directive and attend required courses.
• Act as key holder and secure premises when unattended.
• Keep the vehicle clean at all times.
• Perform other duties as required.
