Job summary

Avonside Insulation Supplies Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a delivery driver with Class C LGV and forklift experience to join the team. You will deliver products to customers, coordinate routes with the transport manager, and ensure safety standards are met.

The role requires a team player with good local knowledge, a valid LGV licence, and willingness to train for vehicle-mounted forklift use. 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Class C LGV licence is essential.
• Experience in delivery driving and knowledge of local area is essential.
• Health and safety awareness is essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of products to customers adhering to all traffic laws.
• Co-ordinate delivery routes with transport manager and adapt schedules as needed.
• Load and unload vehicles using a vehicle mounted forklift; move stock safely.

Working Hours

Requirements

• Class C LGV licence essential
• Driver CPC essential
• Counterbalance forklift licence desirable but not essential as training can be provided
