Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Driver's Assistant for furniture delivery in High Wycombe. The role is temporary to permanent, working 7:00am–5:00pm, 5 days per week, at £13.09 per hour.

You will assist the driver with loading/unloading, deliver furniture to customers, and help position items safely in customers' homes or businesses. A strong team player with good customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of lifting and carrying furniture.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Friendly and professional with customers.
• Good team player with a positive attitude.
• Able to follow instructions and work efficiently.
• Previous furniture delivery/removals/warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading of furniture.
• Deliver furniture to customers on time and safely.
• Carry and manoeuvre furniture into customers' properties.
• Position furniture where required within premises.
• Ensure careful handling to prevent damage.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Help with vehicle loading and securing items for transport.
• Follow delivery schedules and instructions from the driver/management.
• Maintain a clean and tidy delivery vehicle.
• Work as part of a team to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.
