Job summary

CL Lifestyles Night Care and Support Somerset is seeking a delivery/collection driver (C1) to join our team near Spalding. The role involves driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver and collect parts across the mainland UK, with occasional overnight stays and accommodation/meal allowances provided when required.

Hours are typically Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm and Friday 7:30am-3:00pm; workloads may affect hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Category C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence.
• Driver CPC is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is mandatory.
• Good driving record and flexible attitude toward duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect parts and equipment across mainland UK.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Perform general yard duties when not driving.

Job description

Delivery / Collection Driver - C1 (7.5 Tonne)

£12.75 per hour | Based near Spalding | Temporary Ongoing

We are currently recruiting for a C1 (7.5 tonne) Delivery & Collection Driver to join our client based near Spalding.

This is a temporary ongoing position with the potential to become permanent for the right person, starting in November 2026.

Hours of Work:

Monday-Thursday: 7.30am–4.00pm

Friday: 7.30am–3.00pm

Hours may vary depending on workload, journey distances and operational requirements.

There will be an occasional requirement for an overnight stay, although these are few and far between. Accommodation and a meal allowance will be provided when an overnight stay is required.

Key Duties:

• Delivering and collecting parts and equipment across mainland UK
• Loading and unloading vehicles as required
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently
• When not driving, carrying out general yard duties and other tasks as required

The role would suit someone who is flexible, reliable and happy to get involved with both driving and general yard work.
