Job summary

Henderson Group in Ballycastle is seeking a part-time Deli Team Member to join our SPAR/Foodmarket team on Moyle Road. You will help prepare, serve and promote our fresh deli range, delivering friendly customer service while following food safety guidelines.

The role offers 22.5 hours per week with early starts and weekend flexibility. No prior retail experience is required as full training is provided, and you’ll become part of a supportive team with clear career development opportunities.

Deli Team Member

Pay rates ranging from £11.90 - £13.25 per hour depending on your age and great benefits. Part-time position available at 22.5 hours per week, working within the hours of 6:30am – 2:30pm Monday to Sunday, with a degree of flexibility required.

Our hard-working and friendly team make it all happen- from preparing delicious food, delivering first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. As Deli Team Member you will:

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Provide a first-class service to all of our customers.
• Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
• Keeping prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
• Work as part of a team to ensure all counters - SPAR Bakery and deli remain fresh and appetizing for our customers.
• Undertake other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success

• Don’t worry if you have no previous retail or foodservice experience - we’ll provide you with all the right training.
