Responsibilities

• Risk assess new binding authorities and ensure due diligence is completed promptly.
• Support underwriters and guide them through the application process.
• Sponsor new coverholder applications through Lloyd's ensuring compliance standards are met.
• Log amendments to existing coverholder applications as required.
• Follow up on subjectivities or issues in a timely manner.
• Issue reminders of forthcoming renewals and monitor renewals.
• Coordinate with BDX, Claims, Complaints, Compliance and Credit risk teams for smooth processing.
• Escalate issues to the Delegated Authority Manager when needed.
• Maintain accurate coverholder information in systems and pursue remediation plans when required.
• Represent the DUA team within MS Amlin and promote departmental activities.

## Delegated Underwriting AnalystApply: London: Full time: Posted Today: RQ14442**Role: Delegated Underwriting Analyst** **Location: London** **Position: Full time, permanent**The Delegated Underwriting Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all forms of Delegated authority arrangements for MS Amlin follow the policies, procedures and processes of the Delegated Underwriting Authority framework and that a professional, efficient and effective service is provided at all times.**About The Job** While there is rarely a typical day, here’s a snapshot of some of the key parts of the job: * Risk assess new binding authorities and ensure effective due diligence takes place in a timely manner* Provide support to underwriters and guide them through the application process as may be necessary* Sponsor new coverholder applications through Lloyds ensuring the required standards in relation to compliance and expectations are met and log amendments to existing coverholder applications as may be required* Document and follow up on any subjectivities/ issues arising in a timely manner* Issue reminders of forthcoming renewals* Liaise with BDX, Claims, Complaints, Compliance and Credit risk team to ensure a smooth and accurate management of the financial and processing aspects of all facilities* Ensure all due diligence information required at renewal is obtained and signed off prior to renewal or that a remediation plan has been documented. Challenge underwriters on any aspects of the renewal where there is concern and it is appropriate to do so* Monitor the ongoing performance of Coverholders and binding authorities* Produce reports for team and management meetings.* Ensure the Coverholder information held in our systems is accurate and kept up to date* Escalate any issues or concerns arising to the Delegated Authority Manager* Represent the DUA team within MSAmlin and contribute to the promotion of the departments within the different Divisions* Assist on the systems testing and liaise with the IT and Project departments as and when required* Keep abreast of changes and proposed changes to delegated underwriting authority rules, best practice and guidance issued by regulators* Suggest changes for improving the control framework and associated procedures* Establish, maintain and enhance the day to day relationships with internal customers* Promote best practice at all times**What You’ll Need** * Experience in a similar role* Knowledge of Insurance and Underwriting Practice* Good Interpretation skills* Communication skills* Team player* Computer literate* Administrative skills* Attention to detail with pragmatism*We are stronger together because of our common interests and rich differences.
