Job description

AmTrust is a global insurance provider offering risk-management solutions and business underwriting. Today AmTrust International underwrites over $2.5bn of gross written premiums and employs more than 1900 people in 14 countries.

We are now looking for a DCA Officer to join our team in either our London or Nottingham office. In this role, you will be overseeing all aspects of the company's delegation of claims authority to Coverholders and Third-Party Administrators save for technical referral of claims above authority which falls to the relevant Class of Business claims teams.

Other essential job functions include:

  • The successful candidate will support the Partnership Manager in all aspects of their role.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Coverholders, MGAs, and TPAs, managing due diligence and annual reviews.
  • Collaborate across departments to align processes and implement regulatory directives.
  • Drive operational efficiencies; lead improvements, enhance systems, and champion cost-efficiency initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will have existing experience working within delegated authority at any level, possess outstanding relationship experience, and the ability to establish credibility, influence internal and external colleagues, and build strong relationships. You should demonstrate a solid track record of bringing a common-sense approach to any role.

The ability to work autonomously and some change management experience would be key, as would the ability to be a strong team player and someone who is keen to get stuck in. Knowledge of third-party risk management, regulatory outsourcing, and industry experience would be preferred but not essential.
