Job Description:

Your new job as a Delegated Authority Bordereaux & Data Manager will involve working for a growing Insurance Company operating in the Lloyd’s of London market. They conduct business via a global network of service companies, with offices in the UK, Ireland, the United States, Asia, including Singapore, Lebanon, and Dubai. The company prides itself on internal growth and provides solutions covering Casualty, Marine & Cargo, Aerospace, Cyber, Political Violence, Trade Credit, Property, Contingency, and Yacht.

Due to growth within the Delegated Authority team, a permanent position has arisen for a Delegated Authority Bordereaux & Data Manager to manage a team and complete day-to-day delegated authority responsibilities.

Your new role:

As a Delegated Authority Bordereaux & Data Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small team of Bordereaux & Data Analysts and Assistants, overseeing the delivery of bordereaux processes for delegated underwriting. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing timely and standardized data to internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Ensuring that bordereaux data and management information are timely, up-to-date, relevant, complete, accurate, and consistent.
  3. Overseeing adherence to the delegated underwriting bordereaux process across various classes of business.
  4. Managing the ongoing workload of the bordereaux team.
  5. Progressing towards completing up-to-date DDM contract profiles, questionnaires, mapping, and peer review processes in line with Lloyd's and Lloyd's Europe requirements.
  6. Overseeing feedback from Lloyd's brokers, coverholders, and stakeholders on accuracy and timeliness of data provided.
  7. Providing bordereaux and data training to the bordereaux team and assisting with onboarding new team members as necessary.
What you’ll need to succeed:

Your previous experience managing a Broker, Insurer, MGA, or Subsidiary, along with proven experience in team leading and managing Delegated Authority or Binder Management risks, will contribute to your success in this role. You should have:

  1. Proven experience managing complex DA risks across multiple business classes.
  2. Sound knowledge of risk and premium reporting and credit control for delegated underwriting.
  3. Ability to use Lloyd's delegated authority tools, such as Atlas, IMR, and Blueprint 2.
  4. A solid work history and the ability to manage your own workload.
  5. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and under pressure, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
