Are you an experienced Credit Controller/Technical accountant?

If so, read on! Our esteemed client, a pioneer in the insurance industry, is seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Delegated Authority Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage the delegated accounts to ensure they are compliant with relevant regulations.
  • To perform monthly reconciliations of premium and claims bordereaux.
  • Regular analysis and reporting on financial data related to delegated authorities.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance financial transparency and accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry changes and impacts on delegated processes.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor the financial processes for insurance transactions under delegated authority.
Key Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Delegated Authority insurance and the terminologies used, across all lines of business.
  • Good interpersonal skills - comfortable with phone & face to face discussions with customers, underwriters, brokers & other internal technical staff.
  • Aptitude for using financial software and platforms relevant to the insurance industry.
  • A good working knowledge and experience of working with Xchanging and London market / subscription market
