The Company

The Role ofDelegate Sales + Sponsor Relations Executive

Your position will be split into 2 key responsibilities:

  • Delegate Sales - Approaching members and selling delegate places to a number of different conferences throughout the year. It is a soft relationship focused sell since these are existing members, so you will be used to selling in that manner. The members who you would be selling to could include hedge fund managers, asset managers, private equity, venture capitalists, institutional investors, pension funds etc.
  • Sponsor Relations - Once the sponsorship team book a sponsor, they will hand the sponsor over to you to look after. So you would be making sure that the company does everything they can to ensure that the client is happy and delivers on their objectives, whilst also making sure that the sponsor knows what they need to prepare, by when etc. Sponsors tend to be from the professional services sector; accountants, fund administrators, law firms.
