Delegate Sales Executive – R&D

£25,000-£30,000 Base, Uncapped Commission
London – Hybrid

Our global client hosts a growing number of annual events, offering thousands of business executives tailored, practical conferences that keep them up to date with industry trends, technological developments, and regulatory updates across multiple sectors. With offices on five continents, our client is the industry leader in planning, delivering, and managing conferences, tradeshows, workshops, seminars, and more. To maintain their leading position in the R&D sector, they are seeking a Delegate Sales Executive for their Central London office.

Rewards for the Delegate Sales Executive:
  1. Base salary of £25,000-£30,000
  2. Uncapped commissions (OTE £35,000-£40,000 in the first year)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Focus on diverse and innovative sectors, including emerging technology
  2. Conduct thorough research to identify and understand market issues
  3. Sell attendance to industry-leading events using a consultative approach
  4. Develop new client relationships and opportunities
  5. Engage with prospects via email and social media
  6. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  7. Take ownership of sales campaigns
  8. Utilise world-class sales tools and techniques
  9. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, production, sponsorship, etc.)
  10. Attend events to ensure smooth operation and enhance customer service through face-to-face interactions
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  1. Degree educated
  2. 12+ months of sales experience
  3. Proven record of achievement (academic, sporting, workplace, etc.)
  4. Driven, intelligent, and articulate
  5. Structured and methodical with excellent time management skills
