The Company

A fast growing, entrepreneurial b2b events business which is restructuring for growth. You will be working for a friendly, highly experienced and intelligence leader who believes in training and developing new talent, so you will have a clear progression plan in place to help you work towards a more senior delegate sales or sponsorship sales position. they always promote from within first.

The Role of Delegate Sales Executive

You will be selling delegate opportunities for conferences spanning the education, charity and social healthcare sectors. Delegate prices range from £250 up to £1k and the events tend to be extremely well produced and niche conferences which attract a 200 person delegation. The company has the plans and investment to really focus on growing their larger events and therefore, whilst you will initially join a small delegate sales team, that team will grow in correlation with the growth of the event portfolio.

You will be given plenty of leads, both cold and hot, and will be expected to achieve around 2 hours of call time per day. Ultimately however you will be judged on your results, more than your output.

To begin with, the company expects you to work from their West London offices full time so that they can train and develop you. However, once you are up and running, there will be some flexibility around working from home (should you wish to).
