Climate Group is seeking a Delegate Marketing Manager who will nurture and grow our C-Suite attendees across our flagship events, including Climate Week NYC, the largest event of its kind, which takes place each year in New York City.

This role is pivotal to the success of our programme of events and involves building relationships with colleagues at all levels across the organisation, as well as communicating with external senior climate leaders across the globe. About the role

The Delegate Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing delegate management plus audience growth and engagement, particularly at C suite level, across Climate Group's flagship events, with a particular emphasis on Climate Week NYC.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving our mission to utilise stakeholder engagement; working with relevant teams to maximise our ability to target and engage influential stakeholders to attend our events
• Working with colleagues at all levels across the organisation to devise and manage the end-to-end process for events, from setting and hitting registration targets to post event reporting, while ensuring a high calibre and quality of attendees
• Devising and leading the delegate management process for all our events; creating effective email campaigns and online content as well as providing in depth analysis to colleagues and senior managers in the organisation
• Managing the event data, ensuring we are GDPR compliant
• Ensuring that attendees have a good experience of the registration and agenda system on our platforms, by creating a seamless process suitable for senior stakeholders
• Helping colleagues develop a network of influencers amongst our key C suite contacts and ensuring our contact list is continuously expanded at senior levels
• Attend the events in person when required to oversee/ run the in-person registration desk
• Support in scoping different geographies for new flagship events as required
• Identifying, scoping and implementing new processes that can be used for multiple events
• Challenging the status quo and making efficiencies where possible

The Delegate Marketing Manager manages the day-to-day responsibilities of a Fixed Term Contract Customer Service Executive for part of the year, in the lead up to and during Climate Week NYC.

Essential:

• Significant experience of running delegate marketing programmes directly for prestigious events in the B2B area
• Direct experience of dealing with multiple audiences at events, speakers, sponsors, government attendees, C Suite attendees
• Excellent understanding of GDPR
• Experience of data mining and database manipulation
• Experience of generating reports for colleagues at director level
• Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce, Cvent and excel platforms
• Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, including very senior members of the team, across a wide range of disciplines and geographies

Desirable:

• Experience of creating and managing email campaigns directly within an email platform
• Knowledge of Pardot
• Knowledge of climate change issues

Where you'll work

Based in our London office, near the iconic Tower Bridge, you'll enjoy a flexible hybrid working arrangement - three days in the office, two days from home each week.

The role will require occasional international travel.

The salary offered is £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, based on experience.
