Job summary

AXA UK is seeking a DEI, Wellbeing and Community Lead to shape a values-led, inclusive culture across the organisation. You will lead diversity, equity, inclusion, wellbeing, and community initiatives, aligning with business priorities and embedding AXA Ways of Working.

You will partner with senior leaders, manage external relationships, and sponsor wellbeing programmes while driving culture diagnostics and practical interventions. This is a senior, strategic role within AXA UK.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading DEI, wellbeing, culture, community or closely related people programmes in a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of organisational culture, inclusion, employee wellbeing and evidence-based intervention design.
• Ability to interpret employee insight, organisational diagnostics and workforce data and translate findings into practical priorities.
• Strong strategic programme leadership, prioritisation and governance capability, including management of external partners and investment decisions.
• Credibility influencing senior leaders and working across People, Communications, Reward, Learning and Analytics teams.
• Strong judgement, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to balance colleague outcomes and business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead AXA UK’s DEI, wellbeing, community and associated culture agenda, translating enterprise priorities into clear annual plans and measurable outcomes.
• Prioritise DEI, wellbeing and culture initiatives and direct resources across the portfolio to maximise organisational impact.
• Lead organisational culture diagnostics and insight generation, using evidence to shape interventions and priorities.
• Develop and sponsor initiatives that embed AXA values and Ways of Working and improve organisational effectiveness.
• Sponsor physical, mental and financial wellbeing programmes and oversee community investment, volunteering and social impact activity.
• Set the approach to employee listening relating to culture, inclusion and wellbeing and ensure insight is translated into action.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on culture, inclusion and wellbeing priorities, risks and opportunities.
• Lead, develop and coordinate the Culture, Wellbeing and Community team and relevant external partners.
