Job summary

Babcock invites applications for an Electrical and Electronic Engineer Degree Apprentice at Devonport. Over four years you’ll study for a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with placements across engineering teams, applying coursework to real projects and gaining mentoring from experienced engineers.

You’ll learn across power systems, control, instrumentation and navigation, developing hands-on experience while working on site and studying at the University of Exeter.

Qualifications

• 3 A Levels at ABB or above, incl Maths.
• T Level Distinction in an engineering subject.
• BTEC Extended Diploma MMM in an engineering subject.

Responsibilities

• Study for a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the University of Exeter.
• Work on electrical and electronic engineering projects across Devonport.
• Gain practical experience in power distribution, SCADA and control systems.
• Complete placements with mentoring and dedicated training.
