Job description

An excellent new job vacancy has become available in the centre of Glasgow. My client is a leading pensions consultancy and they are recruiting for a Pensions Project Consultant to work at the forefront of the team. This is a first-class and rare opportunity for either an experienced Consultant to work with an industry leader, or someone with a strong grounding in technical project work to make the next step in their career from admin to consultancy.

This role is available due to steady new business wins, and the successful applicant will have a client-facing role. Previous technical senior defined benefit pensions experience is essential, along with experience in client management within pensions. Professional qualifications such as PMI are desirable but not essential.

You will be working with clients managing a mixture of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Technical knowledge of cradle-to-grave pensions administration is required, along with a thorough understanding of scheme rules and current legislation. You should be able to demonstrate and communicate your knowledge clearly and concisely.

On a daily basis, you will manage a portfolio of clients, liaise with trustees, actuaries, and external parties to exceed expectations, and work as a true ambassador for the business. Your impact and daily duties will add immediate value.

An excellent basic salary is on offer, along with an award-winning benefits package. You will join a growing company with long-term opportunities within a successful, close-knit team in Glasgow, part of a national setup with some of the industry's best. Remote/hybrid work options are available.

If this opportunity interests you and you have DB or final salary pensions experience, including client contact, please contact Alison Curran by submitting your CV for review. A confidential discussion about this and other roles is also available.
