Job summary

Lockheed Martin UK is seeking a Project Cost Analyst to join the Programme/PMO team delivering a UK MoD satellite defence program. You will support cost control, budgeting, and reporting across complex, multi-layered programmes, ensuring cost baselines align with contractual requirements and EVMS principles.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and experience with cost reporting, risk analysis, and working with stakeholders to manage schedule and cost variances.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience in financial control and reporting frameworks.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Proven ability to perform cost control and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Cost Control Systems.
• Perform analysis and prepare reports aligned to contractual outputs.
• Monitor costs and cost composition against agreed parameters and government cost principles.
• Establish budgets for contracted work activities.
• Conduct financial analysis of cost projections and baselines, reporting detailed variances and trends.
• Prepare programme plans to ensure requirements within Statements of Work are effectively planned and captured.
• Perform risk analysis to identify programme cost risks and potential issues.
• Incorporate contractual changes into work systems to maintain accurate cost and sales baselines, forecasts, and analysis.
• Ensure costs are allocated in line with established processes and controls.
