Job summary

Ultra Electronics Group seeks a Project Manager for its Cyber Centre of Excellence in Maidenhead/Farnborough. You will lead a small team delivering a technical system for a key customer, coordinating IT, engineering, and Compliance to meet KPIs and SLAs.

DV security clearance is required. You will build strong customer relationships, manage delivery schedules and budgets, and drive service improvements across the lifecycle of critical defence programs.

Qualifications

• Experienced in all aspects of Project Management, including planning, coordination, financial management, risk and issue management, stakeholder relationships, monitoring and reporting.
• Degree or relevant business experience; ITIL knowledge advantageous; defence/aerospace or regulated industries experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delivery performance, customer satisfaction, management, measurement, and reporting to external and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for operational support and service delivery.
• Coordinate across IT, Technical Services and Compliance to ensure long-term delivery and support meet required standards.
• Monitor service performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous service enhancement initiatives.
• Resolve conflicts, coordinate priorities, and motivate teams to maintain high service standards and productivity.
• Communicate status, risks, issues, financials, delivery performance and improvement plans to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities for contract growth, improvements, and additional support offerings aligned with customer needs.
• Contribute to costed proposals and support models for contract changes and pilot studies.
