Job summary

Yorkshire Pie Company in Bradford is seeking a Defendant PI Litigator to join its established litigation team. You will take ownership of a varied caseload from instruction to trial within a collaborative, supportive environment.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience handling defendant EL/PL litigation (fast track and multi-track) and proficiency with CPR/DCP. A fast-track opportunity for an ambitious litigator to advance their career within a respected PI team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience handling defendant EL/PL litigation (fast track and multi-track).
• Experience managing claims up to £350,000 through to trial.
• Fully conversant with the Civil Procedure Rules and DCP.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of defendant EL/PL claims from commencement through to trial.
• Deliver high-quality, efficient and commercially focused legal services to clients.
• Advise on strategy, liability and quantum.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and case law.
• Ensure compliance with risk management procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold high client service standards.
