Job summary

QC Legal, Manchester, seeks a solicitor to join its defendant insurance team. You will manage a substantial caseload of around 200 claims, typically valued at £250,000, across RTA, motor and EL/PL matters. The role offers hybrid working with office attendance at least once a week and exposure to catastrophic injury and large loss matters.

You will work independently, assess quantum and reserves, and progress claims to resolution within a busy defendant practice. PQE of 3–9 years is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 3–9 years' PQE in defendant personal injury/insurance
• Experience handling defendant catastrophic injury and/or large loss matters
• Proven ability to independently manage a large caseload (~200 matters)
• Comfortable attending Manchester office at least once a week

Responsibilities
