Job summary

KLS Law is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join its Defendant Motor team in Warrington. You will manage a varied caseload of pre-litigated and litigated motor claims, providing practical legal advice to insurers and clients while assessing liability and risk.

You will deliver high-quality service, meet court deadlines and regulatory requirements, and work with colleagues to achieve favorable outcomes for clients with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with motor claims experience.
• Experience handling litigated motor claims.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Desirable MOJ and/or Official Injury Portal experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage defendant motor claims in line with client protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Handle pre-litigated and litigated claims, including liability disputes and credit hire claims.
• Progress claims efficiently through to settlement or trial while meeting deadlines.
• Draft pleadings, correspondence and statements; advise on indemnity issues.
• Proactively progress cases using Proclaim CMS and maintain file records.
