Job summary

MBDA is offering an Engineering Support Undergraduate Placement for 2027 in Stevenage. You will work within CSS to support the Weapon System throughout the CADMID cycle, interacting with the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force.

This one-year placement combines design input, troubleshooting, and in-service support to ensure systems remain operational. The role is a hybrid placement with 2-3 days on-site and requires British citizenship.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate pursuing an Engineering degree and able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical people.
• Strong interest in engineering principles and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support design and maintenance tasks across the CADMID cycle with a focus on in-service reliability.
• Collaborate with design teams to resolve technical queries and enhance system supportability.
• Analyse operational scenarios by liaising with Armed Forces to reflect user experiences into MBDA products.
• Contribute to on-site repairs, troubleshooting, and technical investigations as part of a live project.
