Job summary

MarWorks in Portsmouth is seeking three Systems Administrator/Network Technicians to join a busy, on-site team. You will build, deploy and maintain digital platforms, network infra, and communications systems, following established build guides and procedures.

One role may coordinate day-to-day activity and act as a local focal point. The role requires hands-on technical delivery, with duties spanning Windows/Linux, network devices, documentation, and security compliance for the Defence

Qualifications

• Experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Experience building Windows Server and/or Linux systems.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and IP fundamentals.
• Experience with switches/routers and network devices.
• Eligibility to obtain DV Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure servers, network equipment, and digital platforms.
• Install and maintain Windows and Linux systems.
• Support Layer 2/3 network infrastructure.
• Assist with integration and testing of new capabilities.
• Produce technical documentation and instructions.
• Work with engineers and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Defence security and governance.
