Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is seeking a Software Test Engineer for a 6-month contract in Stevenage. Role focuses on end-to-end software testing of defence-grade simulation software in an agile environment, with on-site work 3-4 days per week.

Tasks include test planning, execution, data analysis and reporting, with potential participation in rapid mini-projects and longer-term main programs. The successful candidate will work under the IMV team, gaining exposure to real-time software

Qualifications

• End-to-end software testing experience on large, complex programs.
• Python coding experience.
• Experience with HP ALM/ETM, DOORS and JIRA; ISTQB certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct software test activities from requirements to certification.
• Lead investigations into defects and unexpected behaviors.
• Coordinate external software integration, trials and demonstrations.
• Analyze logs and data to verify compliance with requirements.
• Prepare test reports and support delivery and certification activities.
