Job summary

LHH in Edinburgh is seeking experienced Software Engineers to join our Test Engineering community and contribute to cutting-edge defence and aerospace projects.

You will design and deliver software for radar-related test systems, leveraging NI LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI, while aligning with project architecture and stakeholder needs. A strong background in agile processes and configuration management is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience designing solutions using NI LabVIEW and NI LabWindows/CVI.
• Developing Low Level Drivers.
• Developing software for test system environments.
• Experience with Agile development and Atlassian toolset.
• Familiarity with configuration management, defect tracking and peer review.

Responsibilities

• Support creation and delivery of software solutions within a defined work package area, ensuring that the package meets all stakeholder requirements.
• Establish and mature stakeholder needs, identifying priority and trade-offs to determine optimum capability.
• Create high quality and robust code, document and record work products, keep them under configuration management, and provide plans and progress reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure architecture alignment with other programme elements.
• Contribute to resolution of issues by proposing solutions and driving risk mitigation options.
