Job summary

PA Consulting is seeking a software developer to design and implement high quality, supportable solutions at pace. You will work across the full lifecycle from concept to delivery, collaborating with clients and PA teams in a Defence and Security context.

The role requires strong programming skills in Python, C and C++, experience with Git/Jira and CI/CD, and comfort across Windows, Mac, Linux and mobile environments. Onsite presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software architectures and implementing designs using a professional workflow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex engineering concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience delivering designs into service across the full product lifecycle from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions at the system level and carry out implementation work to realise concepts.
• Work with clients and PA team, applying best practices to deliver high quality, supportable solutions.
• Collaborate across teams while operating within the Defence and Security sector.
