Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Software Testing Engineer for a defence simulation project in Stevenage with hybrid working (3-4 days on-site). You will own end-to-end testing, plan and report testing activities, and lead investigations into defects to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires British citizenship for security clearance, experience in systems proving or software testing within regulated sectors, knowledge of Agile Scrum, and familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins,

Qualifications

• Experience in systems proving, functional or software testing, or verification and validation.
• Software testing experience in products within a regulated sector.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and testing practices.
• ISTQB software testing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and report end-to-end software testing and proving for simulation products.
• Lead technical investigations into software defects and emergent behaviours.
• Support software integration, trials and demonstrations with engineering partners.
• Analyse logs and data to demonstrate compliance with requirements.
