Turner & Townsend is seeking a Programme Governance, PMO & Advisory Consultant to lead governance, PMO and assurance activities within Defence and related sectors. You will deliver governance structures, reporting, and performance insights while supporting mobilisation and improvement initiatives across projects and portfolios.

You'll work with multidisciplinary teams, engage senior stakeholders, and often operate on client sites or Turner & Townsend offices up to 60% of the time.

Qualifications

• Experience in PMO, governance or programme performance roles.
• Experience in Defence, Rail, Infrastructure or Digital/AI sectors.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Familiarity with governance reporting and assurance processes.
• Understanding of programme lifecycles and delivery best practice.
• Experience in regulated environments such as Defence.
• Membership of professional bodies such as APM, PMI, MSP, PRINCE2 or MoP.
• Experience supporting mobilisation or recovery activities.

Responsabilités

• Establishing and improving PMO, governance and programme management frameworks across projects, programmes and portfolios.
• Supporting mobilisation activities, helping clients establish delivery structures, roles, processes and controls.
• Developing and maintaining assurance and quality arrangements to support successful programme outcomes.
• Producing, analysing and presenting programme performance information, reporting and management insight.
• Supporting governance forums, boards and senior stakeholder engagements through structured reporting.
• Driving continuous improvement across programme delivery, PMO and project management practices.
• Supporting programme reviews, health checks and recovery activities as required.
• Collaborating with Risk, Transformation and AI teams to improve overall performance.
