Job summary

SR2 REC LTD is seeking a Project Planner / Programme Planner for a Defence programme in Corsham. You will develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule, track milestones, dependencies, risks and delivery performance, and provide governance reporting.

Active SC clearance and sole UK nationality are required. The role is typically 2–3 days onsite in Corsham, with a daily rate of £500 inside IR35 for a 6‑month contract.

Qualifications

• Strong project or programme planning experience in complex delivery.
• Active SC clearance is required.
• Sole UK nationality is required.
• Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules.
• Excellent knowledge of Critical Path Analysis, baselining and variance reporting.
• Experience with resource-loaded schedules.
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies and milestones.
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and planning sessions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate planning sessions with key programme stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a single version of the truth across planning artefacts.
• Build and maintain resource-loaded project/programme schedules.
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Define activities, milestones, dependencies and resource requirements.
• Conduct Critical Path Analysis and report schedule performance.
• Maintain baselines and track variances against baseline.
• Analyse schedule health, risks and dependencies.
• Integrate risk mitigation into programme schedules.
• Develop Plan on a Page views and governance reporting.
• Support junior members of the planning team.
