Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking two proven Procurement Manager to join a high-performing team overseeing supplier relationships and procurement across engineering programmes.

Role: Procurement Manager (x2). Duration: 9-month contract. Pay: Up to £45 p/hr Inside IR35. Location: Stevenage or Bristol. 3 days onsite. You'll collaborate with procurement, engineering, quality and supply chain to ensure continuity of supply and maximised commercial value across major programmes.

Qualifications

• SC Cleared or eligible to obtain clearance.
• Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing or Engineering.
• Proven supplier relationship management expertise.
• Commercial negotiation capability and contract management experience.
• Experience working within regulated or complex project environments.
• Experience managing European or global suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance.
• Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, terms and contractual agreements.
• Support sourcing and procurement activities across engineering and manufacturing programmes.
• Manage supplier risks, mitigation plans and escalation activities.
• Drive cost reduction and value improvement initiatives.
• Ensure supplier delivery performance meets programme requirements.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations.
• Support commercial reviews, procurement governance and contract management activities.
• Identify opportunities for supplier improvement and supply chain optimisation.
• Working closely with programme, engineering, quality and supply chain stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring continuity of supply, supplier performance and commercial value delivery across major programmes.
