Job summary

Astuco Ltd in Corsham, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement and validate core networking components for a high-assurance defence programme. You will produce design artefacts and support system testing across multiple environments.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus/IOS XE, VXLAN, DMVPN, OSPF/BGP, and strong communication skills, plus SC clearance and a CS degree are desirable.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in the industry with design, implementation and troubleshooting of networking components.
• Must have CCNP (networking) or similar certification within the last five years; VMware VCP-NV is desirable.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; valid SC clearance; MS Office competency.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, building and validation of networking components for the platform.
• Production and review of design artefacts across levels.
• Support wider programme system-testing activities.
• Work with Service Management to resolve issues.
