Job summary

Quast Ltd in the UK is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the AJAX programme within the Integrate Pillar. The role focuses on identifying and resolving cross-project engineering issues and providing technical guidance across the project lifecycle.

Hybrid pattern: 3 days/week at MOD Abbey Wood (Bristol), 1 day/week at General Dynamics (Merthyr Tydfil) and 1 day working from home. SC clearance is required and the contract runs ASAP to 31 March 2027 with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 4+ engineering qualification and EngTech registration.
• Essential: Experience providing technical advice and delivering engineering outputs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and resolve cross-project engineering issues.
• Provide technical input and recommendations to resolve design conflicts.
• Collaborate across engineering pillars to address integration challenges early in the lifecycle.
• Support the Integrate Lead in delivering engineering solutions meeting programme requirements.
