Job summary

Babcock in Camberley, Hampshire is seeking an Electrician to maintain electrical systems supporting military training and estate operations. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with on-call rota after probation and overtime arrangements.

You will perform electrical testing, diagnostics, and maintenance, collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams while prioritising safety and continuous improvement. A full package includes a company van and enhanced benefits.

Qualifications

• Electrical inspection and testing certification (2391).
• Latest wiring regulations qualification (BS7671) — 18th Edition.
• Level 3 electrical qualification.
• Manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing a full programme of electrical testing, inspection and maintenance across estate-wide systems.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and coordinating effective repairs alongside maintenance colleagues.
• Supporting predictive maintenance activities in line with asset management and lifecycle plans.
• Identifying opportunities to improve electrical services and implementing cost‑effective solutions.
• Maintaining accurate inventory levels for electrical components and supplies.
