A government agency in the UK is seeking a Joint Information Assurance Coordinator to manage Information Assurance tasks and serve as the point of contact within Cyber Investigations. Responsibilities include database maintenance, task prioritization, and support for security assessments. Ideal candidates will have strong coordination and organizational skills.
As the Joint Information Assurance Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for task prioritisation against the effort and expertise of the Information Assurance (IA) Technical Security Teams (TST), assessing tasking requests and allocating to the TST.
You’ll act as a conduit to the front door of Cyber Investigations, providing a consistent point of contact (POC) between customers and the IA units and the wider Cyber Investigations team, with the primary responsibility for the day-to-day task management, suitability and availability of resources and ensuring the database is up to date with the relevant reports.
You’ll also support tracking the resolution of vulnerabilities found on MOD’s Communication and Information Systems (CIS), discovered during TST tests, together with the tracking of other IA functions, including pen testing, vulnerability assessment, compliance checks and Cyber Vulnerability Investigations (CVI’s). There will also be opportunities to participate and help in the wider Cyber Investigations goals.
