Job summary

Systematic in Farnborough, UK is seeking a Data Scientist to design and build AI capabilities within the SitaWare ecosystem for defence applications. You will work with defence customers and internal teams to take AI from concept to deployment, delivering real-world operational value.

The role involves integrating AI services, collaborating with data engineers and domain advisers, and training customers to use data and AI tools on-site and during exercises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science or related field.
• Around 2 years of experience in a Data Scientist role within software/IT.
• Experience with external customers is desirable; defence domain knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support AI-driven solutions within SitaWare.
• Collaborate with Defence customers and internal teams to deploy AI capabilities.
• Engage users to capture AI requirements and drive adoption.
• Train customers on data and AI tools for effective operational use.
