Outsource UK Limited in Newport is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to manage vulnerability assessments, prioritise risk, and support governance for a defence client. You will run scans, report findings, and coordinate remediation to protect critical information systems.

The role relies on Tenable Nessus proficiency, strong knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix, and active SC clearance with UK nationality compliance. This is a contracted, on-site position in Newport.

Formación

• Must be a sole UK national due to security restrictions.
• Current SC clearance is required.
• Experience in Vulnerability Management using scanning tools.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems.

Responsabilidades

• Run vulnerability detection scans and ensure CMDB coverage.
• Analyse vulnerabilities at Critical and High levels and assign to owners.
• Raise tickets and communicate vulnerabilities via email or Remedy.
• Follow up on remediation and chase for resolution.
• Produce regular KPI reports on vulnerabilities and non-compliance.
