Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Portsmouth is seeking a Commercial Manager for a 6-month contract. You will provide commercial support to complex bids, manage contracts up to hundreds of millions, and lead negotiations on diverse agreements.

You must have active SC clearance and experience with MOD/Government contracts, plus strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration across projects, finance, engineering and sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial role within defence or government projects.
• Experience in customer-facing environments and bid management.
• Knowledge of Single Source Regulations and Defence Reform Act where applicable.
• Ability to negotiate and manage complex contracts with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide Commercial support to complex bids.
• Manage contracts ranging in value up to hundreds of millions.
• Support change management on existing agreements.
• Review and lead negotiations of contractual agreements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure governance and risk mitigation.
• Advise procurement on key obligations and risk flow-down.
• Develop relationships with customers for smooth contract operation.
