Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Chef for Buckley Barracks to support Defence food services. You will prepare high-quality food, oversee menus and stock, and ensure excellent customer experiences while upholding hygiene standards.

The role requires leadership experience, a Food Hygiene certificate, and City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, with flexible hours and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Have a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsabilités

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting creation of new menus and concepts.
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
