Job Description

DBS DIT provides digital capability that supports corporate services across the Ministry of Defence, including Finance, Commercial, Payroll and Human Resources for Military Personnel, Civilian Personnel and Veterans. Our digital solutions comprise enterprise resource planning systems, performance management, analytics, automation, low code applications and public facing services through Gov.uk.

As a Associate Delivery Manager you will support to DBS DIT AG Service Owner, Programme Managers, Senior Delivery Managers and wider AG team in the delivery of their AGs workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • To provide governance and support to Delivery Managers. This includes:
    • Arranging meetings
    • Room bookings
    • Assistance in the preparation and distribution of meeting packs
    • Attending AG Advisory and Steering Groups and Boards and taking minutes and recording actions
    • The writing up and distribution of minutes, recording and managing actions
    • Facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Updating delivery plans
  • Support Delivery Managers by having a general understanding of current workstreams and their purpose and status liaising with AG stakeholders as required
  • Assisting Delivery Managers in developing and updating risk registers, action logs, delivery plans, benefits plans, quality logs and other project outputs
  • Monitoring and managing AG Multi-user mailboxes
  • Assisting Delivery Managers in Finance and Resource recording and cost tracking
    • Updating AP Finance spreadsheet
    • Maintaining External Support resource spreadsheet
    • Invoice receipting on CP&F
    • Updating AG Dashboard report on weekly basis and issuing to stakeholders
    • The AG Focal point for information management e.g. SharePoint Office365 management, O365 Team sites, MODNet account management
