Job summary

Rolls-Royce Defence in Bristol is seeking a Business Analyst to join the IT and Digital team on the GCAP programme. You will work closely with the Portfolio Team to ensure business needs are captured and reflected in the proposed solution, with scope across defence, aerospace and secure technology environments.

As part of a multi-year transformation, you will model AS-IS processes, explore TO-BE options, and collaborate with project managers and SMEs to drive data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Analysis within defence, aerospace or secure technology environments.
• Background in consultancy is advantageous.
• Exposure to large transformation programmes and full project lifecycle.
• Experience with both waterfall and Agile approaches.
• Proficient in requirements gathering and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Capture and manage business requirements and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Model AS-IS processes and assess TO-BE options with business SMEs.
• Evolve process models to meet business needs and align with project scope.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Engage stakeholders to identify opportunities to solve problems and reduce waste using data-driven insights.
• Measure and record benefits of deployed methods and tools.
