Job summary

Addition in the United Kingdom is seeking a Supply Chain Bid Specialist to shape supplier strategy across bids, engaging suppliers and aligning with BD, Programme and Finance teams.

You will identify suppliers, evaluate capability and value, and lead negotiations to deliver commercial outcomes while promoting social value in complex defence programmes. Flexible working options available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting bids or proposals within supply chain or procurement.
• Experience in defence, engineering or regulated environments.
• Strong track record in building and managing supplier relationships.
• Demonstrated negotiation with a focus on delivering commercial value.
• Knowledge of procurement principles and contract law.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage and evaluate suppliers for bids.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships across bids.
• Shape supply chain strategies with BD and bid teams.
• Support development and implementation of fit-for-purpose contracts.
• Manage supplier actions to meet bid timelines and governance.
