Job summary

Roke Manor Research Limited in Woking seeks an experienced Bid Manager for a 12-month contract to deliver complex bids in Defence and National Security, typically £1m–£10m, ensuring compliance and timely submissions. A minimum SC clearance and UK residency requirements apply.

You will lead the bid lifecycle, coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders and drive winning proposals while maintaining rigorous governance and bid plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years bid management experience in Defence/National Security.
• Extensive knowledge of Shipley lifecycle.
• Proven ability to manage bids £1m–£10m.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bid lifecycle from qualification to submission.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to gather inputs and align bid strategy.
• Develop win themes, storyline, graphics and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and governance standards.
• Maintain bid plans and timelines; manage resources and risks.
