Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves completing a range of cleaning tasks including deep cleans, regular maintenance cleans, and biohazard cleaning in accordance with established health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-standard deep cleans in commercial & residential settings
- Carry out scheduled routine maintenance cleaning duties, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across assigned areas
- Safely handle and clean biohazard materials following strict procedures and PPE guidelines
- Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any repairs or replacements needed
- Accurately complete checklists and cleaning logs as required
- Comply with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues or complete handovers
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- Must be physically fit and able to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods
- Willingness to undergo necessary training, including biohazard and infection control procedures
- Enhanced DBS check may be required depending on work location
- MUST HAVE access to your own vehicle

- Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
- Pay: £12.40-£21 per hour
- Expected hours: 20-25 per week
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Location: Huyton (Servicing Liverpool & Surrounding)
- Reports to: Cleaning Supervisor / Operations Manager
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Work Location: In person
