Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves completing a range of cleaning tasks including deep cleans, regular maintenance cleans, and biohazard cleaning in accordance with established health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-standard deep cleans in commercial & residential settings
  • Carry out scheduled routine maintenance cleaning duties, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across assigned areas
  • Safely handle and clean biohazard materials following strict procedures and PPE guidelines
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any repairs or replacements needed
  • Accurately complete checklists and cleaning logs as required
  • Comply with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and infection control protocols
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues or complete handovers
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Willingness to undergo necessary training, including biohazard and infection control procedures
  • Enhanced DBS check may be required depending on work location
  • MUST HAVE access to your own vehicle

  • Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
  • Pay: £12.40-£21 per hour
  • Expected hours: 20-25 per week
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Location: Huyton (Servicing Liverpool & Surrounding)
  • Reports to: Cleaning Supervisor / Operations Manager
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Work Location: In person
