Join our professional security team as a Dedicated Site Relief Security Officerwhere your commitment to professionalism will be valued and recognised. Join a dynamic security team handling visitor and contractor managements, client liaison, safety initiatives, conducting patrols, Level 1 security checks and emergency response. You also have the opportunity to do overtime

As a key member of our site security team, you'll carry out essential duties with clear responsibilities. Strong communication, attention to detail, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are vital. You'll need to multi-task while maintaining high service standards, reporting directly to the Site Security Supervisor. Regular updates, action trackers and use of guard tour systems will be key to the role

  • Hours: 36hours per week
  • Salary:£12.36per hour
  • Shift Pattern: Days, nights & weekends

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Access Control - visitor and contractor management
  • Conduct basic investigations
  • Enforcing rules
  • Conducting physical patrols and electronic surveillance
  • Responding to alarms and emergencies until relieved
  • Providing customer service and engaging in public relations
  • Monitor and supervise systems found in the control room/gate house
  • Program and de-program access cards
  • Maintain all records of duties and actions accrued out on the Team database and keep the SSS informed
  • You are expected to be familiar with all site SOPs and policies and strictly adhere to it
  • Retain a good site knowledge in order to support day to day operations and emergency response activities
  • Be a team player, maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and stakeholders

Qualifications

Job Essentials:

  • SIA licence
  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Emotionally intelligent
  • Knowledge of electronic security systems including Electronic Access Control, VS, Building Fire Alarm systems, etc
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel, Word, etc
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to apply initiative
