The NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care is undergoing an exciting transformation with the review and redesign of its Medicines Optimisation function. As a result, we are introducing new roles to drive this change, including the pivotal position of Portfolio Lead Pharmacist – Medicines Value. This role offers a unique opportunity to take on a leadership position, playing an instrumental role in shaping and implementing our new operating model within the Medicines Optimisation function.
As the Portfolio Lead Pharmacist – Medicines Value, you will be integral to the NHS GM’s mission to achieve the four core purposes of the Integrated Care System (ICS):
You will also be a key member of the pharmacy and medicines optimisation senior leadership team, tasked with developing and executing a shared strategy and operational plan that aligns with national, regional, and local priorities. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring that these strategies deliver maximum value and outcomes for patients, the community, and the NHS.
NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care (NHS GM) is part of the broader Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), which are partnerships between health and care organizations. Together, these partnerships work to plan and deliver coordinated services that improve health and wellbeing across communities.
