Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking a dedicated Factory Cleaner to maintain high cleanliness standards at our manufacturing site in Cheadle. You will join the Pinnacle Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team, performing on-site cleaning, equipment operation and waste management to support a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience meeting tight production or cleaning schedules.
• Must be physically fit to operate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Awareness of COSHH regulations and safe handling of substances.
• Ability to work in confined spaces could be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day cleaning operation on-site.
• Operate an outdoor road sweeper and industrial floor scrubber.
• Carry out general cleaning, sweeping, mopping and wipe touchpoints.
• Empty waste oil trays, manage waste and ensure secure stores/equipment.
• Litter picking, bin emptying and moving euro bins where needed.
• Assist with waste collection, transportation and storage.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements and COSHH rules.

Job description

• Handling the overall day-to-day management of the cleaning operation on-site in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
• Operating an outdoor road sweeper
• Factory floor cleaning by operating an industrial floor scrubber
• General sweeping, mopping and wiping of surfaceswiping surfaces, mopping, and touchpoints.
• Emptying waste oil trays and bunds
• Litter picking and bin emptying.
• Moving the euro bins within the area
• Waste management- collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas
• Ensure stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.

Key requirements

• UK Driving licence essential due to operating company vehicles 3.5 ton
• Experience working to tight schedules
• Physically fit and capable of working with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
• The Post will involve elements of manual handling, and you may also be required to work with substances controlled under COSHH regulations.
• Able to work in Confined Spaces
